A very floriferous plant with numerous inflorescences from May to October, in relatively long and abundant bunches. The flowers, of quite a large size, are a novel, deep silky-red colour, enhanced with a dark brown calyx. The dark green glossy leaves are aromatic, and may stay, partially, on the plant during mild winters. Easy to grow in a well drained soil, perfect in flowerbeds, rock and pebble gardens and in containers for balconies and terraces.
