The young branches are a particularly bright yellowy-orange colour. Leaves are light yellow in spring, then green in summer. They turn a magnificent carmine red-purple and yellow colour in autumn. A remarkable pyramidal little tree, excellent for small gardens. Appreciates deep soils and sunny but sheltered, exposures
