Very floriferous and melliferous perfumed plant. White flowers gathered in hanging clusters of 25 to 35 cm long and blooming before the leaves at the end of April-May. Slightly blooms again in summer in shorter clusters. It can be pruned into a shrub. The stems curl up on their support in a counterclockwise direction. Foliage is composed of 7 to 13 oval, dark green and pointed leaflets that measure 5 to 8cm long. They turn yellow in autumn. Young bronze shoots.
