Read detailed description :

The 'Blue Puffball®' is the first dwarf Chaste Tree. Forming naturally a round and compact plant (3cm internodes between buds!), maintenance is limited. Numerous panicles of dark blue flowers appear all through summer, 7-10cm long, very nearly as large in width, attracting bees and other pollinating insects, including butterflies. Flowers will form on new shoots, and so pruning short at the end of winter will help renew ramification after the cold. Vegetation, and especially fruit, will give off a peppery perfume when rubbed. Leaves are a rich green colour, paler on the undersides and remain generally spotless through autumn. Tolerates chalky and dry soils but is more vigorous in fresh, well drained and friable soils. Plant in a warm and sunny exposure, sheltered from the North.
