Mediterranean plant that is fast-growing and easy to grow. From May to September, but especially between June and August, it bears numerous terminal clusters with 2 cm diameter yellow flowers. They have a sweet and strong perfume. It bears fruits in downy pods of 5 to 10 cm long in summer. Its flexible and cylindrical branches are green all year round and looks like rushes. They bear a few small, narrow, dark grey-green leaves. Large and dense shrub with strong, rigid and upright branches.
