Little creamy-white flowers appear from December to early March. They appear in little bunches under the upper leaf stems. They may, though rarely, release a delicate perfume, very pleasant in winter. The superb dark green leaves are spear shaped with a lighter green underside. 3-6cm long and 1.2-2.5cm wide and evergreen. Shiny black berries will follow flowers in autumn. Forms a superb, dense and domed little shrub.
