Abundant production of dark red and perfumed berries in July. Excellent in jellies (numerous pips). Rustic and easy to grow in any type of soil, preferably rich. Tolerates chalky soils and the shade. Branches can be attached to a trellis or other props. It can also be used in a hedge.
