Read detailed description :

Fast-growing plant, spreading thanks to suckers which makes the base of the shrub wider. Single pink flowers from June to August followed by decorative fruits that last long in autumn-winter. Healthy and hardy plant. Tough dark green foliage that turns orange in autumn. Described by the Swedish botanist Thunberg in 1784, after its succesful trip in Japan for the botanical world. This plant can be invasive if planted on the edge of natural oceanic coastal areas. It should therefore be planted in gardens, away from sensitive wilderness areas.
