Selected in Switzerland for its resistance to cold weather, wind, and snow. Grows naturally and rapidly, without too much maintenance, into a dense and vigorous column. The bottle-green and long leaves stay on the plant over winter. Produces a few bunches of little white flowers in May and very few fruits. Very little maintenance, pruning often unnecessary.
