Very vigorous and productive in summer. Greeny-yellow, semi-delicate flesh, soft and juicy, sweet and perfumed. Discovered in around 1850 at Coligny (Eastern France) on land owned by Mr. Filliaud, grafted by Mr. Corsaint, a gardener for the Baron de Thoisy near Cuiseaux (Saône and Loire region), and introduced to Oullins (Rhône region) by Mr. Massot, a nurseryman.
