Maintenance advice : After harvesting, and only if necessary, give a formative pruning to even out, harmonize and ventilate branches. At the end of winter, cut off any dead wood. Cherry trees are only moderately pruned.

Vigorous, upright and productive tree. King of cherries in the region around Lyon, very popular on market stalls. Opens the Cherry Fair in the town of Bessenay (Rhone region). Red flesh streaked with lighter colours and darker red nearing the stone, sweet, tasty and crunchy. Vigorous plant adaptable everywhere.
