Famous and majestic tree, often found in parks, in squares or used for row plantations. Fast growing tree with a rounded crown and spreading branches. The trunk is smooth and straight. Its bark peels off into large and decorative plates. The young shoots are covered with down. The large, glossy green palmated foliage turns yellowish-brown in autumn. The spherical fruits remain on the plant throughout the winter and fall off in April.
