The young branches are very colourful : slight orangey, coral-red, a lovely contrast to the dark green and shiny leaves. In spring and the end of summer, early autumn, the young leaves are also bright red. Some of the leaves are splashed with light green, in their center, for a few weeks. Easily forms a lovely, dense, well ramified and erect plant. Delicate white flowers will appear in May.
