Attach itself to the walls without damage thanks to suckers with studs. Hardy and robust plant. Green-yellow flowers in June-July. Blue-black fruits in September-October. Smaller leaves than the 'Robusta' variety, margined with red in spring. Beautiful red and yellow colouring in autumn. Ideal for covering large areas, walls, fences and facades. John Gould Veitch was a specialist in Chinese and Japanese flora, he ran a nursery and lead expeditions.
