Dark purpely-red young shoots then growing lovely purple leaves, barely lobed, slightly crinkly with red veins. In autumn these leaves will turn a lovely red-dark purple to yellow. Little black berries in September. Will attach itself, even on walls without damaging them, with little adhesive tendrils. Ideal for covering walls, fences, pergolas, etc.
