The bluish-green leaves will progressively become red tinted during summer and lovely purple-red coloured in autumn. During the flowering season, the plant may grow to 1m-1.20m in height. This versatile garden plant is robust and long lasting, keeping its solid structure in winter, attracting birds. Tolerates drought and periodical flooding, in any type of soil, once well established. Easily self seeds, so inflorescences need to be removed in autumn before the seeds disperse.
