Read detailed description :

Small tree with a round shape at first which then spreads little by little. The three-lobed foliage is 20 to 25 cm wide. It is shiny dark green on the upper side of the leaves and lighter underside. The greenish-white flowers occurs in spring and are gathered in hanging catkins. The plant produces fleshy, sweet and juicy red blackberries turning black when mature. The plant should be planted somewhere sheltered from cold wind. It is often used as a row tree in the south. Its branches grow in width in the shape of natural sunshades to protect from summer heat.
