Very different from other Mahonias, the olive-green leaves are soft to the touch and without pricks. Very elegant, compact, but with a light and airy aspect. The bunches of yellow flowers in autumn-winter will liven shaded areas. Its oriental silhouette will be lovely, associated with Hellebores, Bamboos, heathland plants and Japanese Maples. Ideal in small gardens, containers and flowerbeds. Plant in a sheltered zone, protected from cold winds, and in a well drained, rich and cool soil.
