Read detailed description :

Small compact plant, excellent for small spaces, in flowerbeds, isolated, flowering hedges. Very floriferous, admirable in April-May. Second lighter flowering in the summer. Flowers are lightly perfumed and in tulip form, about 15cm, with 6 twirling petals, dark purple in bud, then opening to purple-pink. Starts flowering when young, easy to grow. Hybrid of M. lilliflora 'Nigra' and M. st 'Rosea'. Appreciates a sunny exposure, rustic.
