Rustic and rounded plant. Intense purple-blue flowers on long stems, growing to over 20cm, between June and August. Ash-green foliage. Sperical shape of 50-70cm in diameter. Melliferous, aromatic and medicinal plant. Named in tribute to the famous British horticulturist Gertrude Jekyll, and her home 'Munstead Wood'.
