Very floriferous from June to October. At the end of flowering the little petals with show their pink undersides. Elongated and flat leaves of a purpley green colour, turning coppery-red in autumn. Excellent for small gardens, containers, flowerbeds, associated with evergreen and differently coloured shrubs or heather, and in a relatively shaded area. Rustic, this plant is also good in cold temperatures. Will turn pink in a chalky soil. Synonym : Aigaku
