The flowering occurs from July to September. Large clusters covered with white florets and turning pinkish cream. The clusters are much larger when the plant is pruned at the end of winter. It tolerates sandy and rocky soils that are not too dry. Synonym: Minatzuki. The nurseryman Lemoine de Nancy bought this variety from Von Siebold and distributed it.
