Flowers are large and pure white with curving petals. Flowering spreads through summer from mid-July to late September. The bunches can grow to 15-20cm in diameter on the young subjects, and even 40-50cm if pruned quite short in winter. The green leaves are slightly curvy and deeply veined. Forms a slender shrub, and pruning is needed, at the end of winter, to harmonize shape and rejuvenate. Plant in any sandy to gravelly soil, not too dry.
