Very floriferous as early as June, crisp pinky-white flowers, tinted with red in the summer then fully red in September. Beautiful purple green leaves, turning purple to bright red in autumn with purple stems. Compact dome of about 1m20. Excellent in small gardens, containers, flowerbeds, associated with coloured evergreens or heather. Any fresh soil, not too chalky. Rustic, interesting in cold situations also. Can become quite red in acid soils. Synonym : Pink Beauty. Hybrid of serrata x macrophylla.
