Edited by Minier in 2007. Selected from the Vasterival garden in Normandy, property of Princess Sturdza. Large and flat inflorecsences of 20 cm diameter with a blue centre and pure white outer in July-August. The fertile flowers in the centre, turn pink in calcareous conditions. Stocky, hardy and healthy vigorous plant with beautiful matte dark green foliage. Farly tolerates calcareous conditions. It can grow over 1.2 to 2m tall and 2 to 3m wide with age or more if it is never pruned. Easily kept smaller.
