Very large and early flowers (June), the colour of dark coloured cherries (griottes). This perrenial will grow from the stump every year, offering large and colourful flowers of 20cm in diameter, at the end of rigid and erect stems. Appreciates a permanently fresh to humid soil. Shelter from cold and dry winds. Protect the stump in winter. Appreciates a luminous exposure or half shade if in a torrid region during summer.
