Large conical bearing. Dense foliage, green all year but tinted blue in summer. This light and smooth foliage, retains its juvenile aspect. Browny-red bark, flaking in thin vertical strips. A good conifer for large flowerbeds with heathland soil, rock gardens, isolated or forming hedges. Robust plant. Slightly chalky soils are tolerated.
