Bright green foliage variegated with white and turning bright pink in autumn, remaining on the plant until December. Very melliferous, small, pinkish white flowers in May with numerous red fruits from October to January. Beautiful small shrub with spreading rigid branches sometimes taking roots. Tolerates chalky conditions. Excellent as a rockery plant, a border plant, on slopes or in containers. Melliferous plant. Synonym: C. atropurpureus 'Variegatus'.
