vigorous climbing plant very floriferous, blooms almost continuously, sometimes as early as April or in May, June or September. Flowers of 15 to 20 cm diameter, white tinged with pale pink to dark pink. Wooly leaf's underside. Prefers semi-shade and sheltered location. A clematis appreciates having its roots in the shade and its flower head in the sun.
