A profusion of lightly perfumed white flowers in spring, from the end of April to early June. Of about 3.5cm in diameter, they form bunches of 3-10. Each of the 5 petals are a pure white tinted with yellow towards the center, and a little bunch of yellow stamens at the heart. Flowering is renewed each day, petals forming a carpet on the ground. The downy leaves are evergreen, narrow and dark green. They are also resinous with a strong scent. Rounded and spread out shrub.
