Read detailed description :

Melliferous flowering. Abundant erect bunches of sky-blue flowers of 10 to 15cm long. Plant in a well drained soil in a shaded area. Good in a group or isolated, trellised against a wall, or part of a hedge. Tolerates sea-spray. Stays a bushy shrub if pruned, and becomes a tree-like shrub if the base is cleared and is lightly trimmed.
