A tree for line arrangements, forming a dense and compact column. Branches grow upright all along the trunk. Will become more oval shaped after 20 years. Light green curving leaves. More compact, an improvement of the 'Columnaris' variety. The first trees where tested at Nijmegen near Eindhoven (NL) then named by TKC in 1983. Any normal soil, porous, not too dry.
