Domed evergreen shrub with thick, shiny olive-green and long leaves. The lighter central vein is prominent, and the underside is bluish. The large summer flowering is yellowy-green, attracting bees and other insects. The star-shaped fruit, appearing at the end of summer, will stay on the plant all through autumn. Any well drained soil, even poor and dry. This plant will grow in shrubland, under pines, bordering woods, etc. Tolerates oceanic conditions and wind.
