This charming plant has serrated leaves, variegated cream-white, becoming golden in autumn. The shoots are tinted pink in spring. The decorative bark is brown to cream. Forms a large shrub and can become a small tree with age. Green catkins appear early spring. Resistant to heat, drought and humidity, though prefering cool soils.
