Compact, dense and stocky plant. Robust and easy to grow. Resistant to sun, contrary to other golden varieties. Deciduous leaves, bronze-tinted in spring, orangey-yellow with red marks in summer, becoming reddish in autumn. Excellent for rock gardens, borders, containers, isolated or associated with other low, colourful shrubs and perrenials.
