The flowering bunches will bend branches. Lovely and perfumed plant, appreciated for flowers appearing in a season when others do not (summer, early fall). Appreciates a warm and sunny exposure. Any soil, preferably light. The Abelia genus was named after its discoverer, Dr Clarke Abel.
