Blue-green non-prickly and ribboned foliage. They have decorative edges with thin silky threads, hence its name. It is 30 to 75 cm long and 3 to 10 cm wide. In July-August, the upright stems of 1 to 1.5m long bear numerous creamy-white and bell-shaped flowers that are hanging from 5 to 7 cm long.
