Small, elegant tree with long and flexible drooping branches. In March-April, it bears a large amount of single dark pink flowers that come from carmine buds. Its dark green oval and serrated leaves of 8 to 10 cm long, are yellow and red in autumn. Synonym: Prunus pendula 'Pendula Rubra'.
