Small but excellent Magnolia, very floriferous, generous, rustic and easy to grow. Covered with beautifully coloured flowers, purple pink outside, ivory inside, opening in May to 15cm in diameter. Flower buds are purple red. Leaves and flowers resemble the M. x soulangiana 'Lennei', with a later flowering and sturdier. Rounded form and dense vegetation. Seedlings from M.x soulangiana 'Lennei'.
