Read detailed description :

Abundant flowering from June to August, in bunches of 10-20cm. Large shrub or small tree depending on pruning. An original plant, a hybrid between a Catulpa bignonioides and a Chilopsis linearis. The first clones were bred in test tubes in Uzbekistan, at the University of Tashkent, by F.N. Rusanov in 1964. Introduced to America in 1977 in the first protocol for scientific exchanges between the two powerful countries, then named and described by Elias and Wisura in 1991.
