Very floriferous in May-June with large carmine-pink and cream necked flowers. Vigorous variety. Leaves are dark green with a downy underside. The attractive young shoots are downy too and appear after flowering. Compact, domed vegetation. Excellent in containers, rock gardens and flowerbeds in front of hybrid rhodedendrons, azaleas, japonese maples and other heathland plants. Rustic.
