Compact, dense and very floriferous shrub with a spreadig vegetation. Its shiny dark green elongated foliage is 8-10 cm long and 2-3 cm wide. In April-May, it bears very abundant white flowers in upright clusters of 10-12 cm long. From August to October, it produces black and ovoid fruits of 8-10 mm diameter. Introduced in France by Minier in 1963.
