3 cm diameter flowers with a yellow lemon colour, whashed with light orange and reminding us the outstanding tangerine colour. The flowers become cadmium orange at the end of the flowering and are decorated with a clump of orange stamens. The colour is more orange in mid-shade and yellow in full sun. Grey-green foliage. Bushy and rounded shrub with a dome-shape when mature. Seedling of Chinese seeds sent by Reginald Farrer around 1920.
