Vigorous and compact vegetation. Very floriferous plant, covered with pink buds, becoming white flowers of 15cm in diameter, in March-April. Rustic variety, robust and vigorous. Young branches and buds are downy. Close to the Magnolia stellata variety with the same vegetation, differenciated by a later flowering by 2 weeks. Appreciates a well drained soil. Seedling of the stellata variety 'Waterlily'.
