Abundant perfumed flowers, creamy white, tinted with purpely pink in winter. Rapid growth. Very floriferous in winter, between December and March. Carl Anton Purpus (DE) bred the first hybrid ot this series at the Botanical Garden of Darmstadt (DE) before 1920, by cross-breeding the 'L. fragrantissima' and 'standishii' varieties.
