A lovely, compact, versatile and decorative shrub growing to about 1.5-2m in height. Useful in containers, low hedges, bordering terraces, flowerbeds, patios, etc.. Beautiful variegated leaves, green with the light yellow on young shoots, becoming white when mature. Bunches of perfumed white flowers appear at the beginning of summer, followed by black berries appreciated by birds. Tolerates sun and the cold (ie, up to 900m, in Switzerland).
