One of the most rustic of plants with rapid growth. Bears numerous little red and purple flowers from June to September. Excellent for hedges, containers and flowerbeds. Bred at Riccarton, near Edinburgh in Scotland. Resembles the 'Magellan' Fuschia, originating from South America.
