Perfumed bright red star-shaped flowers with an orange colour inside, a veined green-withe underside and a matte carmine red tube. Long flowering in may-June. Excellent brown-red autumn colouring. Vigorous, compact and upright variety. Knap Hill hybrid distributed by W. Slocock and Sons (GB) after 1945. Known as similar to the 'Devon' variety, bred at the same time.
