Read detailed description :

Remarkable bright red young leaves in spring, a reddish-green colour in summer, turning orangey-red in autumn. Graceful little palmed leaves of 3-6cm with 7 narrow lobes. Horizontal branches, with drooping extremities. Stocky and wide bearing. A good variety for small gardens and containers. Prefers a not too chalky soil, rich, cool and well drained. 'Shojo', in japanese, is a red-faced monkey in traditional japanese dramas, or a young girl.
