Read detailed description :

This Hardy Banana plant is the most resilient to cold weather of the type, and will bring an exotic touch to a garden. The large paddle-shaped leaves grow all along the tender and erect trunk, and can grow to 1.5-2.5m long when mature. Forms a tuft, gradually widening. In the summer, can produce bunches of yellow flowers, surrounded by an attractive large brown bract. Bananas will follow, 3-6cm long, a bit too fibrous to be eaten. Plant in a rich, preferably fresh, and filtering soil. Appreciates a warm and luminous exposure, sheltered from wind, without too much heat, if possible.
